Cooking

Burmese dishes are my speciality if you want to try something. I will bring the ingredients and we can cook together. My recipes include tea leaf salad, mohinga, chicken curry, vegetarian curry, hainnhkyao (soup), ngapi taung (fish/shrip paste we use in many dishes). If you want an authentic Burmese flavour for yourself or your guests I can help you.

Shopping

I can do your shopping and carry everything on my bicycle around Bath.

Deep Cleaning

Nowhere escapes my attention. I do the finger test for dust in all hotels I visit!

Home Care

I love working with old people. My grandpa in my village lived to 102. My grandma taught me a lot about life. I can help with all your needs at home. I am always happy to talk – this also helps me improve my English. I taught myself partly by talking with tourists at Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon when I was a teenager.

Flower Arranging

I did the flowers for my own wedding. This summer I will arrange the flowers for a wedding in Granada, Spain, for my Burmese friend Aye Myat Mon.

Laundry ironing and darning

I grew up in a very poor village in Burma and we did not waste anything – food or clothes. I love sewing and mending clothes.

Gardening

Cutting ash logs for the fire on my canal boat. We have a garden on the roof and I love to tend the plants in the warmer months. In my village in Burma we use a lot of herbal remedies. We also use many wild plants for cooking. My cow loves to eat mango and spits out the stones.
